Outside of these storylines, Proudlock's "bromances" with the other male cast members has become a popular part of the series, leading to several parodies and celebrations at End of Season episodes.

Initially being part of Spencer, Jamie and Hugo Taylor 's group, he soon developed a close friendship with Francis, and moved in with him and Jamie, becoming "The Lost Boys. The series begins with Proudlock and Jamie caught up in Spencer's feud with Francis. After Jamie's hotel party, Proudlock meets with Jamie and Spencer and tells him they're going to live with Francis. He also reveals Sophia has contacted him, revealing she was unsure of her feelings for Francis and has left the country.

And with hard work comes experience. When you're trying to set up a business, you can get so excited and it's really easy to get carried away and just get it out there before everything's ready to go.

But the most important thing is taking your time in those beginning stages. It took me ten to 12 months to actually put Serge out there because I had to ensure it was all ready to go. We live in a world now where everyone is super impatient, so you have to make sure it's perfect and ready for you to back it all the way. Community is everything. That's why I've got these two plus signs tattooed on my thumbs, my mum always told me to be positive and if you are then positive things will come back to you.

My mother had a denim business when I was younger, so our whole house was literally denim. I was always dressed head to toe in denim. The Serge DeNimes flagship store will of course be in London, but going global is definitely something that is in the pipeline.
